Submit Honors Project Proposal
Once students have completed their Honors project proposal (HNRS 4980), use this form to submit items required of the project proposal. The proposal requires:
- A 1,000-word description of the Honors project. This description will serve as a guide for the direction and extent of the project
- An annotated bibliography of the primary sources that will be initially used for the project.
- A timeline of completion for the Honors project that lists major and minor milestones that will need to be met to finish the project by the projected end date of HNRS 4990: Honors project.
- A declaration of support from faculty advisor indicating that project does not require IRB approval to proceed or proof that IRB approval/process has been initiated
Please thoroughly complete each of the required questions before submitting. Responses will be evaluated by your Honors advisor to determine whether you can move on to HNRS 4990: Honors Project (or equivalent)
Due dates:
- 15-week sections: due the Monday of finals week
- 7-week-sessions and summer session: due the Monday of the last week of the session
- When completing both HNRS 4980 and 4990 in the same semester or when completing a capstone in the major that is counting in place of the project, the proposal is due on the Friday of the first week of the session.
