Allied Health Online Degree

The Department of Public and Allied Health in the College of Health and Human Services plans to institute a new online Bachelor of Science in Allied Health (BSAH) in Fall of 2016. This program is intended for students who have successfully completed an accredited associate degree program in an allied health discipline. The curriculum is designed as a "3+1" degree allowing students to use those courses which comprise the clinical and technical educational component of their associate degrees to fulfill up to 40 credit hours toward the BSAH.  An additional 48-51 credit hours beyond the associate degree may be taken at BGSU or transferred in from Community College (see Check Sheet below).

Courses that transfer as the equivalent of any required general education, core, or supportive requirements can be applied to the baccalaureate degree. Only courses in which the student obtained a grade of “C” or higher will be transferable. The degree curriculum requires a minimum of 122 credit hours.
