Matt Molnar, MSW, LISW-S
BIOGRAPHY
Matt Molnar starting teaching social work in the fall of 2015, and he joined the Social Work program at BGSU as an Instructor and Coordinator of Field Education in August 2017. Prior to teaching, Mr. Molnar was employed as a social worker primarily working with older adults receiving in-home support services. Mr. Molnar received his Bachelor of Social Work degree from Cairn University, and his Master of Social Work degree from Michigan State University with a focus on Community & Organizational Practice. Mr. Molnar has a diverse practice background that includes community mental health, medical social work, case management, community education and outreach, and program development. In his current role, Mr. Molnar assists students with finding organizations and social work supervisors to complete their field practicum (internship). Mr. Molnar works closely with agency partners to cultivate strong relationships/affiliations that promote student preparation for professional practice.
