Bio
Catherine Pape earned her Bachelor of Arts and Master of Science in Criminal Justice degrees from BGSU. She joined the Criminal Justice faculty at BGSU in the fall of 2017 and teaches a variety of graduate and undergraduate courses at BGSU, including Introduction to Criminal Justice, Juvenile Justice, Corrections, Race and Criminal Justice, and Research Methods. Trained in policy, theory, and quantitative methods, her current research agenda focuses primarily on institutional and community corrections and offender reentry. She also serves as a member of the Wood County Reentry Coalition.
She is currently working to finish her Dissertation research to earn her Ph.D. Her dissertation research focuses on life course experiences of native vs. foreign-born persons.
