Meet the Authors

Over the years, we have had some amazing authors and author/illustrators at Literacy in the Park. Take some time to learn more about these individuals and their work.

2019 Lindsay Ward
Born and raised in California, Lindsay nurtured a love for drawing and telling stories. Her most recent books include Don’t Forget Dexter!, It's Show and Tell, Dexter!, and her latest--Vacation for Dexter!
Today, Lindsay lives in Peninsula, Ohio, in the heart of the Cuyahoga Valley National Park, with her husband, author Frank Tupta, two sons, and dog. Most days you can find her sketching and writing in her studio, editing manuscripts, or working on new designs for her stationery company, Foreword Press + Design.
