Position Description for University Mentors

Position Announcement: University Mentor
The Office of Educator Preparation and Partnerships in the College of Education and Human Development at Bowling Green State University (BGSU) is in need of qualified individuals for part-time employment as University Mentors. Individuals must have:

  • Master’s Degree
  • Teaching License
  • Minimum of 5 years of successful classroom teaching experience 
  • Experience mentoring pre-service teachers or Resident Educators
  • Moderate Computer proficiency required (electronic forms, virtual communication)
  • Specific needs in Early Childhood, Intervention Specialist/Special Education, AYA Math and Science

  • Part-time position
  • Salary based on supervision assignment and teaching experience at the University
  • Mileage reimbursement
