Accademia Italiana is recognized as a top European institute for art, fashion and design. It brings together students from around the globe. U.S. students get to hone their design skills alongside Italian and international peers.
They can also immerse themselves in courses on Italian language, arts, and culture – all while enjoying the breathtaking beauty of Italy.

Cultural Explorations in Italy
Two-week adventure led by BGSU professors
FCS 4800 is a 3-credit hour course that may be used to sastisfy your BGP International Perspective requirement. It is open to students from all majors. We partner with Italian local businesses and schools to customize learning experiences for students who participate in the class. Students have the option to participate in student-led research projects and/or Honors projects.
Cultural Explorations in Italy is a fast-paced, 2 week adventure of multiple cities. The interdisciplinary experience is designed to foster student’s hands-on opportunities in service-learning, human/family development, education, business/marketing/design/fashion, and history/culture.
Our students travel to some breathtakingly beautiful Italian cities, they learn new things, enhance their classroom knowledge with hands-on skills, and enjoy their unique Italian experience in varied ways.
