Maribeth S. Rahe graduated from BGSU with a bachelor of arts degree in Spanish. After graduating, she was hired as the first female branch manager trainee for a small savings and loan.

Rahe later joined Fort Washington Investment Advisors, Inc., a wholly owned subsidiary of Western & Southern Financial Group, based in Cincinnati, Ohio. Today, she is president and chief executive officer of Fort Washington Investment Advisors, Inc., and under her leadership the company is one of the largest investment advisors in Ohio.

Rahe is a past president and former board member of the United States Trust Company of New York. Additionally, she has served as vice chair of the board of The Harris Bank in Chicago and has held various positions at JPMorgan in London and New York.
