Scholarship and Grants

Scholarships:

There are a wide variety of scholarships offered for entrepreneurship students listed below. Specific eligibility for each scholarship can be found by clicking each link.

Dr. Brent Nicholson Memorial Scholarship: This scholarship memorializes Dr. Nicholson by recognizing student achievement in entrepreneurship.  

Brian V. Sokol Entrepreneurship Scholarship: This scholarship provides assistance to entrepreneurship students in the Schmidthorst College of Business.  

David S. Hainline Entrepreneurship Scholarship: This scholarship was established to support a student in the Schmidthorst College who is actively participating in Entrepreneurship classes.  

Gary A. Schuetz Entrepreneurial Scholarship: This scholarship is available to any student who has declared an Entrepreneurship minor.  

James G. and Nancy Cleveland Family Scholarship: This scholarship was established to encourage continued progress in Entrepreneurship by assisting students in financing their education at BGSU.  

Joseph F Ziemianski Entrepreneur Scholarship: This scholarship recognizes students registered for the Entrepreneurship minor who are actively involved in the campus community.  

Larry L. Miles Entrepreneurial Scholarship: This scholarship is available to a full-time undergraduate student who has declared a minor in Entrepreneurship and demonstrates strong leadership skills.  

Norman R. Seaman Memorial Scholarship/Entrepreneurship: This scholarship recognizes a student in the Schmidthorst College of Business who demonstrates an understanding of the history of free enterprise and an interest in entrepreneurship.  

R&V Warnsman Entrepreneurial Scholarship: This scholarship recognizes a student who is minoring in Entrepreneurship and has good academic standing.

Lewis Becker Fund: This scholarship was established to provide financial need to a student who has a major in the Schmidthorst College of Business and a minor in Entrepreneurship.  

Alissa Czisny ’09 Entrepreneurship Scholarship: Honoring the dedication, hard work and drive Alissa Czisny had to complete her BGSU education while competing at the highest level of international figure skating. This scholarship supports students with similar dedication and leadership with a minor in Entrepreneurship.

Grants:

Entrepreneurship Seed Capital Fund: A collection of money that is available to fund student startup ideas. The fund is available to current students.
