Gordon R. Hamm ('87)
Gordon Hamm graduated from Bowling Green State University with a BA in Computer Science and Business. He started his first company, Independent Computer Consultants, while still a sophomore at BGSU. After graduating, Gordon started doing contract work with the Department of Defense in Virginia and later sold his company.
Gordon moved to New Jersey and has been a Partner and CEO of Garage Management Corporation, a $150 million major parking/real estate company in Manhattan with over 70 locations. He is also a partner in various real estate ventures and restaurants. He is a co-founder of the Kidville NY, which is a concept childcare and develop center that has expanded worldwide.
Gordon is currently the Vice President of the Metropolitan Parking Association, serves on the Board of Trustees overseeing the Welfare/Pension Fund for the Teamsters Local 272 and he sits on various Cooperative and Condo Boards. He has sat on the BGSU Alumni Foundation Board and currently sits on the Foundation Board of Directors at Bergen Community College Foundation and is active in many other organizations.
Proud recognitions include the Certificate of Special recognition by Congress and the Senate for his community services, the Dr. Harry Brandeis Memorial Community Service award and a Certificate of Commendation from the Bergen County Board of Chosen Freeholders.
