Bruce Fisher '68

Bruce Fisher is a retired vice president of Hayward Pool Products, a manufacturer of pool products based in Berkeley Heights, New Jersey. Fisher was an active volunteer within The Association of Pool and Spa Professionals (APSP), serving in 2010-11 as chairman of the Manufacturer's Council and as a member of the board of directors from 2013-15. Fisher also served as a member of the board of directors of Latham International and the board of directors of World & Main between 2011-2019. Currently, he is a member of the board of directors of Advanced Pool Technologies LLC.

Prior to Hayward Pool Products, he was a product manager, vice president of distributor sales, vice president of marketing of the Residential Division, and vice president and general manager of the Decorative Lighting Division of Lightolier, a division of Genlyte. He was also general manager and chief operating officer of The Light Store, a start-up retailer/wholesaler of lighting products and ceiling fans located in Texas and Colorado that grew from one location to 17 under his leadership. During his lighting career, Fisher served as the chairman of the industry trade association and worked closely with the professional staff to raise awareness of good lighting practices in residential and commercial applications. 

Fisher graduated from BGSU with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with specializations in economics and marketing.
