Welcome

The SoTL Academy traces its origins to 2009, when Dr. Jeff Bernstein and Dr. Sarah Ginzberg organized its first meeting at Eastern Michigan University. Over time, it has evolved into a lively, welcoming regional community for discussing, critiquing, and encouraging pedagogical tradition, adaptation, and innovation.

This edition is hosted through the Bowling Green State University Center for Faculty Excellence concurrently with our home-grown Fall Flex conference. We gratefully acknowledge and celebrate our many campus partners for enabling us to offer an online conference free of charge.

We look forward to a conference that showcases new and ongoing research, facilitates networking and friendships, and offers professional development for both secondary and college-level teachers. We are delighted to welcome attendees from past conferences, as well as colleagues and students new to the SoTL Academy conference and SoTL scholarship. Please join us for what we anticipate will be an exciting event.
