Unmanned Aircraft Systems (Drones)
Unmanned Aircraft Systems (UAS), commonly known as Drones, are regulated by the FAA. Use on campus, or off campus on behalf of the University, is subject to the provisions found in the below University policy and approval process instructions.
There are only TWO ways to fly a drone over BGSU property:
- BGSU- owned drones with a BGSU license or approved Use Application
- BGSU RC Club has restricted approval to fly in a designated space on campus
- BGSU RC Club has restricted approval to fly in a designated space on campus
- Vendor contracted with BGSU and approved Use Application
RECREATIONAL USE / USE OF PERSONAL DRONES IS NOT PERMITTED
