- Respiratory Care:
- Explore the critical role of respiratory care in healthcare. Participants will have hands-on sessions with respiratory therapy equipment, learn about lung function, and understand the art and science of helping patients breathe easier. Engage in simulations that mimic real-world scenarios, gaining valuable insights into this vital aspect of patient care.
- Radiological Technology:
- Step into the world of medical imaging with our Radiological Technology sessions. Campers will discover the principles of X-rays, CT scans, and other imaging modalities. They'll have the opportunity to operate simulated radiographic equipment, decode medical images, and understand how radiological technology plays a pivotal role in diagnosis and treatment.
- Diagnostic Medical Sonography:
- Uncover the wonders of Diagnostic Medical Sonography, exploring the use of ultrasound to visualize internal structures in the human body. Campers will get hands-on experience with ultrasound machines, learning to interpret images and gaining insights into the diagnostic techniques that are crucial in modern healthcare.
- Anatomy & Physiology:
- Delve into the foundation of healthcare with an in-depth study of Anatomy & Physiology. Campers will explore the intricacies of the human body through interactive models, dissections, and engaging discussions led by experienced educators. Gain a comprehensive understanding of how the body's systems work together to maintain health.

Eligibility
- Students entering 9th - 12th grade in fall of 2024 who are interested in learning more about careers in the health fields.
Camp Cost
- The $295 cost of camp covers all program materials, lunch & snacks throughout the week as well as instruction and lab fees.
- Financial assistance is available in the form of campership applications and through partnered grants.

Application Dates & Deadlines
- Early Decision Deadline: March 1, 2024
- First wave applicants will be notified by March 22 of acceptance
- Final Deadline to apply: Registration Deadline Extended May 24th
Application Cancellation Policy
- All programs, or camps within a program, may be subject to minimum enrollment and may be canceled if enrollment minimum is not met. In the event of a cancelled program all fees and registration costs will be refunded.
- Campers may withdraw their application at anytime by sending an e-mail to falconyouth@bgsu.edu
ACCEPTANCE & DEPOSIT
To reserve your seat in camp a $25.00 non-refundable deposit is due within 10 days of receiving your camp acceptance. Participants who do not pay the deposit by the tenth day are removed and placed on the waitlist. A deposit made after the 10th day does not guarantee a seat and must be approved.

CANCELLATION POLICY:
If a registration is canceled, the individual or organization making the original CAMP payment will receive:
Full refund minus deposit if cancelation occurs on or before May 31, 2024.
75% refund minus deposit if cancelation occurs 21 days or more to the start of camp.
50% refund minus depost if cancelation occurs between 14 days and 21 days to the start of camp.
No refund for a "No Show" or for a cancellation request received less than 2 weeks prior to the start date of the program. Students dismissed for disciplinary reasons are not eligible for any refund.
