Deadline extended for Falcon Internship Guarantee

An important deadline is coming up for all first-year college students: Friday, Feb. 5, 2016, is the last day to apply for BGSU’s Falcon Internship Guarantee (FIG) program, if you have not already done so. All first-year college students are eligible for the FIG program, an important asset for any undergraduate.

BGSU is committed to helping students participate in an internship or other experiential learning activity during their undergraduate careers, because we know this not only strengthens learning but also increases their ability to find a good job after graduation. In fact, The Economist and Money magazines rate Bowling Green among the top for boosting graduate earnings. The Falcon Internship Guarantee creates early connections with students, helps them confirm a clear path to a job, and promotes academic excellence.

BGSU guarantees students who complete the Falcon Internship Preparation Program, and meet the identified criteria, the opportunity to participate in an internship or other experiential learning activity during their undergraduate career. When you register for the Falcon Internship Guarantee you are automatically enrolled in the Falcon Internship Preparation Program, which focuses on key activities needed to be successful in the internship search process.
