Econ Club Update

During the spring semester, the Econ Club welcomed several interesting speakers to their meetings covering a variety of topics. BGSU professors Dr. Quinn, Dr. VanderHart, and Dr. Benedict, spoke to the club members about their research thesis/papers in Economics.  Another highlight was Marty Sutter, President and CEO of Genoa Bank, who spoke to the Econ Club about his position with the bank.  As a group, the club went on two trips, one to Owens-Illinois, and the other to Cleveland to see the Federal Reserve and a 3D printing company. We were a smaller group ranging from 8-10 people per meeting. Our goal this year is to have more outside speakers come and talk to us about their personal business experiences, go on a spring trip, and focus on fund raising through t-shirts sales and dues.
