Language Services Group to offer Business Chinese for Beginners

BOWLING GREEN, O.—The Language Services Group, a project developed by three Bowling Green State University faculty members, is offering an online Business Chinese for Beginners course from Aug. 6-31.

The course provides practical knowledge of the Mandarin Chinese language and Chinese business culture for communication in business meetings, negotiations and correspondence. Participants can work at their own pace, but are required to schedule one-hour Skype sessions with the instructor once a week for practice and question and answer sessions.

Business Chinese for Beginners is aimed at people who are doing or planning to do business with China, those traveling to China for business, people hosting business partners from China and those who simply want to learn some functional and practical Chinese language and culture specifically for business.
