Finalists named for BGSU president
BOWLING GREEN, O.—Bowling Green State University has named the three finalists to become the 11th president of the University. Over the next few weeks, they will visit campus to meet with constituent groups and learn more about BGSU. The two-day visits will include a public presentation.
Dr. William Ruud, president, Shippensburg University of Pennsylvania, will hold his presentation at 3:30 p.m. Thursday (March 3) in 206 Bowen-Thompson Student Union.
Dr. Mary Ellen Mazey, provost and vice president for academic affairs, Auburn University, will be on campus March 14; Dr. Gary Miller, provost and vice president for academic affairs and research, Wichita State University, will visit the University March 16.
Recorded video of the sessions will be available online after each presentation.
According to William Primrose, trustee and chairman of the Presidential Search Committee, the University will make a selection by the end of the current academic year in order to have a new president in place for the start of the fall semester.
