BGSU board chooses firm for presidential search

BOWLING GREEN, O.—The Bowling Green State University Board of Trustees has chosen the executive search firm of Heidrick and Struggles to lead the search for its next president. The trustees approved the choice at their annual retreat Aug. 6.

The board described Heidrick and Struggles as “a firm capable of engaging the BGSU community in an inclusive and successful search.” Based in Chicago, Heidrick and Struggles has been in business for nearly 60 years and has clients worldwide.

Details of the contract agreement are under discussion.

President Carol Cartwright has announced her decision to step down in 2011.
