CHANCELLOR FINGERHUT SPEAKS AT STATE OF THE REGION
BOWLING GREEN, O.—Ohio Board of Regents Chancellor Eric Fingerhut will be among the speakers at the annual State of the Region Conference Feb. 12, hosted by Bowling Green State University’s Center for Regional Development. The conference will be held from 8 a.m. to 12:15 p.m. at the Hilton Garden Inn at 6165 Levis Commons Blvd. in Perrysburg.
Fingerhut will speak from 11:30 a.m. to 12:15 p.m. and will be available to journalists for about 15 minutes directly afterwards. A media table will be provided.
Dr. Michael Carroll, director of the regional development center, will review economic highlights of the past year and discuss what the region may look forward to this year in his State of the Region Address at 9:10 a.m. The program will also feature a 10:30 a.m. panel of regional business leaders and a 9:45 a.m. talk by John Magill, chief strategic officer for policy research and strategic planning at the Ohio Department of Development.
About 280 civic and business leaders from the 27-county northwest sector of Ohio are registered to attend.
