Dr. Deborah Kashy, Professor of Psychology at Michigan State University and co-author of Dyadic Data Analysis, instructed this hands-on workshop, which included lecture material and individual analyses. The workshop was attended by 26 students, and the NCFMR provided travel stipends for five of these students.

The session focused on four data sources to analyze marriage and family research questions. Topics and speakers for this workshop included:
- Kate Bartkus and Audrey Beck, Office of Population Research and the Center for Research on Child Wellbeing, Princeton University
- Anjani Chandra, Survey Statistics, Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and National Center for Health Statistics
- Mariah Cheng, Carolina Population Center, University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill
- Elizabeth Cooksey, Center for Human Resource Research, The Ohio State University
Thirty students participated in this workshop; the NCFMR sponsored five student travel stipends.
