Life Design Student Ambassador Vision:

Life Design Student Ambassadors are curious, reflective and engaging student leaders who represent the Radbill Center for College & Life Design across campus in a variety of capacities. Ambassadors help BGSU students build community with one another and connections across campus as they apply Life Design ideas and tools that support their success. Ambassadors do this by sharing their own story of transition to and development at BGSU and how they apply Life Design concepts and resources as well as facilitating connections within and outside of the BGSU 1910 classroom.

The success of Life Design initiatives at BGSU depends upon the hard work, commitment and ability of Student Ambassadors to connect with and motivate BGSU students and one another.

Life Design Student Ambassadors support The Radbill Center for College & Life Design in a few key ways:

  • Ambassadors work at least one shift at the Radbill Center Welcome Desk, greeting students and visitors, and responding to inquiries, while assisting with the organization of the space. They provide tours of our space, an overview of services/programs offered and assist with other duties during these shifts.
  • In the Fall, Ambassadors are assigned to one or more BGSU 1910 sections taught by a Life Design Coach. In this capacity they serve as peer leaders assisting Life Design Coach instructors with the facilitation of the class lessons and activities. In this role they also contribute to small group discussions and build community among the courses’ students within and outside the classroom.
  • Ambassadors represent the Radbill Center and share their experiences with Life Design at a variety of events, such as: student orientation, Admissions/Recruitment activities, alumni engagement events, Life Design co-curricular programs and workshops
