Meal Plans. Fueling Falcon Success.
Living on campus is a big step. This may be the first time you are living alone, planning your classes and squeezing in work. You may want to grab something easy and on the go to keep up with your schedule or take some time to unwind with friends after a full day of classes or before a campus event. To help you navigate your live on campus all BGSU students are required to have a meal plan.
*Prices shown are for the 2024-25 academic year and are subject to change. One plan per semester.
Discover How Falcons Select Their Perfect Meal Plan
Freddie Falcon, BGSU’s favorite mascot, is getting ready for another busy year, and he’s eager to pick a meal plan that keeps him fueled for all his classes, games, and campus activities!
Freddie always weighs each of the meal plan options and how he thinks it will integrate with his life on campus. He first considers the Bronze Plan. Perfect for students who need around two meals per day—ideal for those with lighter class schedules or anyone who may have other meal sources, like living close to home or a part-time job. Freddie can see how two meals a day could be enough with a low-key schedule, but he has back-to-back events on most days. Freddie might need a bit more to keep his wings flapping!
Freddie, while reviewing the Silver Plan, sees it offers an average of 2.5 meals a day. This plan definitely gives more flexibility, perfect for students who might mix dining hall meals with light snacks or coffee breaks. Freddie thinks this could be great for his extra snack runs in between classes and events.
Finally, Freddie considers the Gold Plan, covering about three meals each day—exactly what he needs! With three full meals every day and probably some snacking too, Freddie should have plenty of energy to soar around campus and cheer on his fellow Falcons! *
*These scenarios describe the experiences of an average student, but in reality which meal plan is right for you is based on your personal eating habits.
