Madi Smith

Hello! I'm Madi Smith and I am the Coordinator of External Engagement in the Honors College. I support prospective students considering the Honors College and alumni interested in engaging with current students.

I am a two-time BGSU alumnus. I graduated in 2020 with my B.A. in Environmental Policy and Analysis and in 2023 with my M.A. in History. I am also a graduate of the Honors College and a member of the 2016 Presidential Scholars cohort. Prior to this position, I was a BGSU Admissions Counselor working with students in southwest Ohio.

In my free time I enjoy spending time with my Falcon Flame, Adam, and our two dogs - Acadia and Olympia. I am a recreational distance trail runner and a yoga instructor. I have academic interests in wellbeing, environmental justice, humanities, and interdisciplinary research.
