Sophia Spivey
Position: President
Sophia is pursuing forensic science specializations in examination and biology and a planned minor in chemistry. She is the Programming Director at WBGU. Sophia is also involved in Delta Zeta, the Forensic Science Learning Community, and Order of Omega. She started the Accelerated Bachelor's to Master's Program in forensic science this past fall as well.
Abigail Clark
Position: Vice President
Abbey is majoring in forensic science with a specialization in chemistry, with credits towards a specialization in biology, and a minor in chemistry. She starts her master’s degree in forensic science in the fall. Abbey is excited to see DDE grow as an organization!
Claudia Burkey
Position:Â Treasurer
Claudia is specializing in forensic examination. She also has a planned minor in chemistry. Claudia is the treasurer of DDE. She will graduate BGSU in the spring of 2021 and plan on finding a job as a latent print examiner.
Caitlyn Kuecher
Position: Editor
Caitlyn is a senior majoring in forensic science with a specialization in chemistry. She is an ambassador for both the Academic Investment in Mathematics and Science (AIMS) Program as well as the College of Arts and Sciences. She also is a part of the Marvin Center for Student Leadership, working towards completing the BGSU Leadership Achievement Award (BLAA). After graduation she hopes to join AmeriCorps before returning to get her master's degree.
Kayla Martin
Position: Secretary
Kayla is studying forensic science with a specialization in biology. She is minoring in both chemistry and psychology. On campus, she is involved in Alpha Chi Omega Sorority and Order of Omega. After graduation in the spring of 2021, Kayla will continue in the Accelerated Bachelor's to Master's Program in forensic science at BGSU to further her education.
