  1. College can be a challenging time. That’s why, as a public university for the public good, we prioritize well-being and belonging through the BGSU Community of Care initiative. BGSU has resources like the Counseling Center which offers free services to students and the Falcon Health Center which provides medical services. Don’t hesitate to reach out for support if you need it.

  2. BGSU values the safety and well-being of all students. The See It. Hear It. Report It. form is a tool to report concerning or suspicious behavior to campus authorities. It's essential to look out for each other and report anything that feels off.

  3. Whether you're living on campus or commuting from home, BGSU has resources to support your experience.

Move-In week is less than a month away! Check out the move-in guide to prepare for life in the residence halls.

For commuter students, the Office of Orientation and Transitions is a great resource to help you feel connected to campus. Visit the Commuter Hub for details about parking for your required new student welcome events.

  4. As you immerse yourself in campus life, take some time to learn about the rich history of BGSU traditions. SICSIC, the Birds, wearing orange and brown on Falcon Fridays and always walking to the right of the seal are just a few of the traditions that make BGSU unique. Don't be afraid to ask upperclassmen or attend campus events to learn more about these traditions.
