Handshake

The Career Design Coaching team utilizes Handshake - a modern platform for connecting students and alumni with on-campus and off-campus employers. Handshake offers many great features including the ability to:

• Post your resume to connect with employers
• Apply for part-time and full-time positions
• Sign-up to attend career-related events
• ... and more!

Current Students: To access Handshake, you must log into your MyBGSU account and click on the Handshake link listed within the Kuhlin Career Hub section.

Incoming Students and Alumni: We are in the process of transitioning to a new platform to enhance our services. More details will be shared as they become available.

Please do not request a Handshake account, the request will be denied.   

NOTE: Positions posted in Handshake are posted on behalf of the external employer. Applying, interviewing, and accepting positions at external organizations is at your own discretion. External organizations are responsible for the compliance and validity of their positions and hiring practices. These positions are posted with the expectation that all University policies, along with all local, state and federal laws and regulations are followed. BGSU does not review for pre-approval prior to the position being posted on Handshake.
