Electronics Recycling Drive
Saturday, April 5 | 9 AM - 1 PM
Slater Family Ice Arena Parking Lot
This is your chance to recycle a wide variety of old, outdated, unwanted or broken electronic devices! If it has a plug, we'll most likely accept it; some items not accepted. For details on acceptable items, visit: bgsu.edu/ewaste

Campus Waterways Cleanup

Meeting in Lot 05
Join us for a spring cleanup on campus! We’ll be focusing on litter in and around water features on campus. We will start around the pond east of the Technology Building and make our way towards the Lot 12 detention ponds. When You Move Out, Don't Throw It Out (WYMO)
Monday, April 14 - Until Halls Close
Residence Hall Lobbies, Greek Townhouses, Union Lobby, Market Locations
Donate clothing, non-perishable food, and anything else still useable to benefit those in need in WYMO collection boxes! Boxes will be in place until the Res Halls close for the year. For more details on acceptable items, visit: bgsu.edu/wymo

BGSU Eco-Fair
Wednesday, April 16 | 11 AM - 2 PM
BGSU Union Oval
See live animals (Bald Eagle, Hawks, Owls, reptiles, flying squirrels, etc.), try slacklining, grab a free plant, see electric vehicles, checkout environmental information tables and displays, and more! The location will be outside on the Union Oval, by the BGSU letters. Don't miss this free event!
(Rain Location will be inside the Bowen-Thompson Student Union Multipurpose Room)

Tree Plantings
Thursdays, April 17 & 24 and Wednesday, April 23 | 1 PM
See BGSUserves for Locations
We have three opportunities for you to help us plant a row of native Ohio trees! Join us in making a lasting impact on campus and adding to the more than 4,600 trees at BGSU. Trees induce cooling in the summer, provide habitat for animals, filter rainwater and reduce runoff, sequester carbon and produce oxygen, are aesthetically pleasing, amongst other benefits! Registration on BGSUserves is required to volunteer. Location details for the tree plantings will be on each event registration. See all opportunities on our page here:

Bloomfest
Thursday, April 17 | 5 - 9 PM
Bowen-Thompson Student Union Grand Ballroom (BTSU 202)
The 4th Annual Bloomfest is a free spring awakening indie music festival hosted by Environmental Action Group and Music Industry Club. The bands performing are The Heartthrobs, Hemmingway Lane, The Thing With Feathers, and Leisure Hour. During the event, campus and student organizations will host interactive tables. Games will be present as well as the purchase of raffle tickets for multiple different prize items. Proceeds from Bloomfest are donated to Black Swamp Conservancy. Food will also be available for purchase outside at the Falcon Food Truck. Come for as little or as long as you'd like!

Slippery Elm Trail Bike Tour
Saturday, April 19 | 1 - 4 PM
Begins from Reed St. Bike Garage
Join us on a free springtime bike ride as we embark down the Slippery Elm Trail and back with the Outdoor Adventure Club. The start of the bike ride will be from 507 E Reed St, the BGSU Bike Rental Garage. Helmets encouraged. Weather dependent.

Friday Night Lights
April 4, 11, 18, & 25 | 6:30 PM
Union Theater (outside entry doors)

Last Day of WYMO
End of Day, Saturday, May 3 | When Buildings Close at 10 AM
Residence Hall Lobbies, Greek Townhouses, Union Lobby, Market Locations
Before you move out, be sure to donate any and all unwanted items to BGSU's WYMO program where it will get new life going to a charitable organization or as an item in the Campus ReStore next year.
Items that WYMO collects include:
- Clothing/shoes of any kind
- Non-perishable food (use up those extra falcon dollars to buy food to donate!)
- Personal items/toiletries
- Electronics and kitchen appliances
- Household items
- Books
- Games
- Sporting goods
- Small furniture
- Decorations/whatnots
- Cleaning/office supplies
- ANYTHING still usable that anyone who is moving out of their residence hall, Greek townhouse, or apartment is willing to donate!
