Robert W. and Patricia A. Maurer Center
Home to the Allen W. and Carol M. Schmidthorst College of Business,the Robert W. and Patricia A. Maurer Center is among one of the most modern and innovative learning environments for business education in the nation. The Maurer Center opened to students in 2020 and connects the iconic Hanna Hall with a 50,000-square-foot addition featuring high-concept, high-tech learning facilities to encourage active collaboration for future business leaders and entrepreneurs.
Alumni Gateway
During its 100th Homecoming anniversary celebration in 2022, BGSU dedicated the new Alumni Gateway at the corner of Thurstin Avenue and Court Street on the western edge of campus, where the former Administration Building once stood. The gateway resembles the original campus gateway that was located in the same spot, showcasing the University’s historic buildings with open walkways and sprawling green space while seamlessly connecting the University to the city of Bowling Green, ranked as one of America’s best college towns.
Stroh Center
The Stroh Center is home to athletic events, concerts, student activities, lectures, commencement ceremonies, and campus and
community events. The state-of-the-art facility opened in 2011, seating approximately 5,000 and includes a main arena, auxiliary gym, box office and team lounge, as well as Schmidthorst Heritage Hall, Anderson Club and Falcon Team Store.
University Hall
The iconic University Hall welcomes visitors to campus and provides a central location for programs that are fundamental to the BGSU experience.
Moseley Hall
Moseley Hall, the original science building on campus, now features state-of-the-
art, flexible laboratory and classroom spaces accommodating a broad range of science disciplines – biology, chemistry, geology and medical laboratory sciences.
Kokosing Hall
In 2023, BGSU opened Kokosing Hall to house the School of the Built Environment, bringing the architecture and construction management programs together under one roof. Featuring a 22,900-square-foot expansion of the Park Avenue building, the renovated and expanded facility provides collaboration spaces to incorporate student engagement with corporate partners, students,faculty and alumni and is creating opportunities for growth in new programs such as facilities management, sustainability and landscaping.
Greek Village
Home to the University’s Fraternity and Sorority Life, Greek Village opened its doors in 2016, creating a hub for chapter operations and the
Greek community. Greek Village is considered on-campus housing with a variety of townhouse layouts and is located along Wooster Street, close to the Jerome Library and Fine Arts Center.
Michael & Sara Kuhlin Center
The Michael & Sara Kuhlin Center opened in 2016, featuring a complete renovation and addition of South
Hall. The state-of-the-art facility is home to the School of Media and Communication, which includes the communication, journalism and public relations, and media production and
studies departments and houses video and audio production suites, virtual sets, live reporting spaces, and manual and robotic cameras.
Mitchell B. McLeod Hall
Mitchell B. McLeod Hall, prominently located adjacent to the Bowen-Thompson Student Union, underwent a significant renovation in 2022 to house the Geoffrey H. Radbill Center for College and Life Design. With an emphasis on inclusive and collaborative spaces for students to work with Life Design coaches, the facility opened in 2023, with BGSU as the only university in the nation to have two endowed centers dedicated to student success.
Central Hall
Central Hall, the former Business Administration Annex, opened in 2021 after undergoing a multi-million dollar renovation to house the BGSU School of Nursing. The facility includes classrooms, a nursing skills lab, computerized manikins, and simulation rooms to mimic a hospital environment, allowing for program expansion to meet the growing demand for nurses.
Wolfe Center for the Arts
With its stunning architectural design, the Wolfe Center for the Arts has served as a world class venue for art galleries, performances, classes and alumni events on campus since 2011. The distinctive 100,000 square-foot Wolfe Center is part of the BGSU Arts Corridor, located between the Fine Arts Building and the Moore Musical Arts Center, highlighting the University's commitment to a stronger, more vibrant and dynamic community through the arts .
Health and Human Services
In 2016, BGSU opened the newly renovated College of Health and Human Services, following the relocation of the Health Center. In alignment with the Campus Master Plan, the building's 25,000-squarefoot total renovation modernized academic learning areas, including classroom and research facilities, a teaching kitchen, a food science lab and collaborative spaces.
Falcon Health Center
Through a public-private partnership, the Wood County Hospital opened the Falcon Health Center on the BGSU campus in 2013, providing services for students, faculty, staff and the community. The 23,000-square-foot facility is located at the corner of E. Wooster Street and S. College Drive, featuring private exam and procedure rooms, immunizations, general radiology, lab and blood draw, a drivethru pharmacy and more.
BG Flight Center
BGSU and the Bowling Green Flight Center, owned by North Star Aviation, launched an innovative partnership in 2015, making BGSU one of the few universities in the nation to have an airport on its campus. Since the partnership began, the Bowling Green Flight Center has constructed over 40,000 square feet of new facilities and has more than doubled flight operations, classroom and office space.
Centennial Hall
Centrally located on campus, Centennial Hall shares a courtyard with Kohl Hall and is steps away from Carillon Place dining center.
Falcon Heights
Falcon Heights is located near the math and science buildings and is a short walk to the Bowen-Thompson Student Union.
Social House @ the Oaks
The Oaks Dining Center is located near the BowenThompson Student Union and several residence halls and features a wide variety of dining stations. It is known for its environmentally friendly features, including a green roof with herbs, a live roof panel system and storm water reclamation system.
Carillon Place
Located next to Centennial Hall, Carillon Place was built with the environment in mind and features a rotating menu of health-focused options. With glass exposure for natural light and the use of tray-less dining to save on waste, the facility utilizes numerous systems and processes to be deemed environment-friendly.
Student Recreation Center
The Student Recreation Center underwent extensive renovations in 2014 to modernize the architectural plan and upgrade fitness equipment. The expanded facilities include a weight/strength area, cardio equipment, activity courts, a 35-foot climbing wall, space for personal training and group exercises, a pool spectator area and more. The Student Recreation Center is among an elite group of facilities across the country that have earned Official Hammer Strength Training Center status, with specialized equipment that showcases a commitment to the highest standard of training.
