Christian Imboden, Ph.D.
My primary interests in economics are public finance and labor economics. I got my PhD from the University of Oregon, my master's degrees from Oregon, SUNY Albany, and NYU, as well as my BFA from the University of Michigan. Prior to economics, I pursued careers in music and accounting. I just completed a 3-year stint as a visiting assistant professor at Georgia State University. I am an avid guitarist and composer. I play guitar in a variety of styles including classical, folk, jazz, and rock. I also play other fretted stringed instruments such as banjo, bass guitar, ukulele, and mandolin, as well the piano. I compose a lot of pieces for solo guitar, as well as chamber music, choral music and the occasional musical.
