Schmidthorst College of Business Beta Alpha Psi Recognized as Superior Chapter

The Schmidthorst College of Business at Bowling Green State University is proud to announce that the Alpha Upsilon Chapter of Beta Alpha Psi, the International Honor Organization for Financial Information Professionals, has received international recognition as a Superior Chapter. Under the leadership of Faculty Advisor Alisa Suelzer, the Alpha Upsilon Chapter has far exceeded the baseline requirements of Beta Alpha Psi and has excelled in the areas of academics, professionalism, and leadership. Aaron Wheeler, President of the Chapter, played an important role in this achievement as well.

“Recognition as a Superior Chapter is a significant accomplishment,” commented Ray Braun ‘80, Dean of the College of Business. “We are very proud of Alisa Suelzer and the Alpha Upsilon Chapter on their outstanding efforts during the ’19-’20 academic year.”

“As Faculty Advisor for the chapter, Professor Alisa Suelzer has provided an invaluable service to your academic institution,” remarked Rita Grant, President, Beta Alpha Psi. “I want to especially congratulate the chapter on its accomplishment during this particularly challenging year.”

“Aaron and the entire Executive Board did a great job of planning and executing over 20 professional meetings and events and many opportunities for service activities for our membership last year,” exclaimed Alisa Suezler. “Even when the pandemic forced us home, the team continued to have several meetings online with area companies without missing a step.”

The Schmidthorst College of Business is among the top 1% of business programs in the world and is ranked as the 29th best public undergraduate business program in the United States.
