Ruth White Named Chapter Advisor of the Year
BGSU Chapter of Delta Sigma Pi Recognized for Outstanding Achievements

Associate Teaching Professor Ruth White was named Chapter Advisor of the Year for her work advising the Schmidthorst College of Business’ Theta Pi Chapter of Delta Sigma Pi, the nation’s largest, co-ed, professional business fraternity. The Theta Pi Chapter received awards for the Most Improved, Outstanding Professional Activities, Outstanding Scholastic Development and Outstanding Service among collegiate chapters. Winning numerous awards evidences the chapter’s overall excellence.
The Most Improved Chapter is a national award presented annually to a chapter of Delta Sigma Pi that exhibits the greatest degree of improvement in its general operations, professional programs and membership support as compared to the prior academic year. The Outstanding Professional Activities is a regional award presented annually to a chapter that plans and implements the most effective and comprehensive program of professional development. The Outstanding Scholastic Development is a regional award presented annually to a chapter that plans and implements the most comprehensive program of scholastic development. Outstanding Service is a regional award presented annually to a chapter that plans and implements the most effective and comprehensive program of service to others.
“We are very proud that Ruth White received Chapter Advisor of the year,” said Ray Braun ‘80, dean of the Schnmidthorst College of Business. “Her outstanding work is reflected in the numerous awards received by Delta Sigma Pi.”
