Sales Education Foundation Names BGSU Among Top Sales Programs in U.S.
In the upcoming 2015 edition of its annual publication, BGSU is named a “Top University Sales Program” by the Sales Education Foundation. According to the Foundation, these university programs are recognized for preparing students for careers in professional selling and helping to elevate the sales profession.
Associate director of BGSU’s Service Marketing Institute and BGSU sales coach, Christine Seiler, is excited about our selection. “It is wonderful to be recognized for all the hard work and expertise of our sales faculty. We all work very hard to provide the best sales education, skill development, and sales experiences for our sales-minded students so that they are actively recruited and highly sought after by employers from around the country.”
Sally Stevens, executive director of the Sales Education Foundation, encourages companies to build partnerships with these top university sales programs and recruit their students who will be the next generation of professional sales people.
The Department of Marketing at BGSU offers two specializations – marketing and sales and service marketing. We are one of the few undergraduate business programs in the country that has a focus on sales and services marketing, along with outstanding faculty teaching the courses.
BGSU also has a tradition of excellence at the National Collegiate Sales Competition (NCSC). Most recently BGSU marketing student Andrew Ludwig finished among the top 12 in the country and we had the national champions of NCSC in 2010. Our university has one of the best records at NCSC for over a decade.
