Recruitment for Fall Enrollment Shows Strong Results; College of Business Day is January 23
With strong recruitment efforts continuing, the College is seeing an increased number of applications for fall 2015 with high school students who are performing academically higher. Applications from prospective students, and housing deposits are up in the College of Business compared to 2014.
Susan Kosakowski, recruitment coordinator for the College of Business, is excited about the students applying to the College. “The fall of 2015 students are very engaged in their college search. Students and parents are working together, asking questions about their opportunities here in the College, and what their future looks like going beyond graduation. The exciting part is the level of interest and commitment students are investing in their selection of the College of Business at BGSU! We look forward to a great class of students.”
Another special opportunity for high school students to discover how BGSU’s College of Business goes beyond a traditional business education is by attending College of Business Day, Friday, January 23, from 9:00am-1:00pm, in 101 Olscamp Hall. Prospective students and their parents are invited to come to campus and talk with faculty, staff, and students to learn more about the unparalleled opportunities at this nationally ranked College of Business.
Check-in begins at 8:30am and lunch is part of the day’s festivities. Activities will include student panels on internships/co-ops and education abroad programs, a mock faculty lecture, and informational booths about great choices for specializations and student organizations.
