COVID-19 Information & Resources
The ICTC 12 Organizing Committee is working hard to plan a successful and safe meeting. While we continue to plan for an in-person conference, we are monitoring COVID guidelines and recommendations with the aim of keeping our ICTC delegates and the Toledo community healthy and safe. The Organizing committee continues to assess the Covid situation, and will make a decision March 1 as to whether we proceed as planned for an in-person meeting, or postpone to 2023. If held in person, we will provide a forum for short, prerecorded talks to be presented in a video loop at the conference. In recognition of travel restrictions imposed upon our Canadian provincial- and federal government colleagues that will likely extend through the spring, the mid-week symposia sponsored by IFHAB will be available in a hybrid format with online access free of charge.
To promote and protect the health and safety of conference delegates, ICTC 12 will follow COVID mitigation measures in place at the University of Toledo. At present, the University is requiring all individuals on campus to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19.
In addition, the University continues to require well-fitting masks that fully cover the nose and mouth for all individuals, regardless of vaccination status, while indoors on campus. Masks are not required outdoors; however, the U.S. CDC recommends in areas with high numbers of COVID-19 cases that individuals consider wearing a mask in crowded outdoor settings.
