The list of devices below provides details on the standard devices supported by ITS this fiscal year for new employees, employee device upgrades, and for recommended department purchases. If you are interested in buying something not on this list, we can either get a new quote for the request, or make the order on your behalf for existing quotes. Replacement Devices
BGSU offers gently used, replacement hardware for university office use. Below is the depreciation schedule for the replacement devices. All hardware is depreciated using the IRS MACRS depreciation formula. Use the Request Device at the top of this page to request replacement device. Please note that all requests will be approved based on device availability and description of need. Auxiliaries will be charged to acquire any device(s) listed on the depreciation table. Non-auxiliaries will be charged for the replacement of department funded devices (e.g. department-owned labs or classrooms).
Please Note: Desktop devices are only available in certain, approved situations. For all university device requests, if a department would like a desktop device, they must purchase new as gently used desktops are no longer readily available.
