FULL! Advanced Fire Investigation - 4 Day Class

Description

This course is offered in a blended format and will equip students with investigative techniques, knowledge, and skills necessary to prepare written reports and testify in court proceedings. You will learn about fire behavior, explosions, fatal fire investigations and processing a post-flashover scene. This is not a basic course and is designed for fire/law enforcement personnel with investigation experience and past coursework.

· Investigating Fatal Fires
· Post Flashover Fires

Protective eyewear, steel-toed boots, gloves, helmet, and laptop computer are required. A digital camera is recommended.

Required textbook:
Fire Investigator Principles and Practices – 6th edition by Jones and Bartlett

Special Requirements: 
Candidates must have completed Basic Fire Investigation or comparable training.
