DOUBLE ROOM

- The Primary room option available
- A room designed for two individuals to share.
- Students in this type of room will have a roommate and could have suitemates if they live in a suite-style room.
- All halls have doubles
ECONOMY TRIPLE
Based on demand.
- The cheapest room option
- A slightly larger room originally designed for two individuals to share and converted to accommodate three people.
- A cheaper option because of the smaller space
- Students in this type of room will have two roommates
- Students have to fill out a special form and is the only option that allows students to choose more than one roommate.

On-Campus Room Layouts
TRADITIONAL ROOM LAYOUT
63% of the rooms on campus
When someone says the college experience they are typically talking about a traditional room setup. These are hall-style, standard rooms that are typically shared with one roommate. Students share the community bathroom that is equipped with muliple showers, sinks and toilets, which the University cleans/maintains on a regular basis.

IN-ROOM BATHROOM LAYOUT
13% of the rooms on campus
The easiest way to explain this option is to compare it to a hotel room. Standard rooms that are typically shared with one roommate, with a bathroom located inside the room. Students are responsible for supplying their own cleaning products, shower curtain and toilet paper and cleaning the bathroom.

SUITE-STYLE LAYOUT
24% of the rooms on campus
Double rooms or single rooms that are grouped together by a common area. The suitemates share the common area, which is typically described as a small living room, and one or two bathrooms. Students are responsible for supplying their own cleaning products, shower curtain and toilet paper and cleaning the bathroom.

Price
How much are you willing to spend?
There are three teirs of pricing in on-campus housing - $$$, $$, $. Some amenities cost more than others so figuring out your budget and priority list can help you with your selection. Housing rates are approved every year by the BGSU Board of Trustees in February. Dining Options
Market Convenience Stores
There are six Market Convenience Store locations on campus. Three are located inside residence halls. Students can find grab-and-go options like salads, sandwiches and sushi and items they can keep on hand in their rooms like cereal, milk, soup, toiletries and more.
Full Service Dining
There are four full service dining facilities on campus. One is located in Kreischer Quadrangle, called the Sundial. The Sundial has a food court of options featuring build your own pasta, salad and fresh wraps, Burger Bar 325 and Marco’s Pizza.
Additional Amenities
Air Conditioning
Every residence hall has A/C in the common areas, but not every bedroom. For the majority of the year, A/C is not necessary in Bowling Green, Ohio (average temp: 60°F/39°F) but if A/C is important to you, consider choosing a hall with rooms equipped with A/C.
Learning Communities
All new students should consider joining a learning community. Members of these communities have the unique opportunity to live in an assigned block of rooms in the same residence hall where they are surrounded by others who share their same interests. Being a member will enhance your college and living experience and make it easier for you to meet friends when you move-in.
