Welcome to the 2024-25 academic year

Hello and welcome to the 2024-25 academic year!

I look forward to working with you this year as interim provost and senior vice president. My focus in this role will be to partner with faculty, staff and students to advance the strategic priorities of Academic Affairs, which include continuing to strengthen BGSU’s undergraduate and graduate programs, expanding access to BGSU for new populations of students, and supporting the growth of BGSU’s impact in the region, state, country and beyond. I am grateful for the opportunity to collaborate with you in achieving these goals and appreciate all you have already done to advance them.

This year, I will be sending divisionwide messages each month with news, announcements, key dates and deadlines, and highlights of faculty, staff and student accomplishments. All items included in these emails will be posted on the newly redesigned Office of the Provost website, which I encourage you to visit when you have a chance.

Thank you again for all you to do support our students and each other. We have significant momentum going into the year thanks to your considerable efforts. I wish each of you a happy, healthy and productive start to the fall semester.
