Virtual Private Network (VPN)

For faculty who work off campus, or for those who would appreciate the convenience of reporting time from home, we are offering the option to set up access to the BGSU Virtual Private Network, commonly referred to as the VPN.

The VPN tool can be used in several different ways.

The most common option is to simply use the VPN web interface. If you are only using the VPN for the Time and Labor reporting feature in MyBGSU, this web interface will be all that is necessary.

The second option is using the full version of VPN, which uses a device from off campus (like your laptop at home) to connect to a University computer left in your office on campus.
