Regarding Interpretation of Section 11.5 of Article 17 -Compensation
Memorandum of Understanding
WHEREAS, the Bowling Green State University (the "University") and the Bowling Green State University Faculty Association-American Association of University Professors ("BGSU-FA")(the University and the BGSU-FA are sometimes herein after referred to as the "Parties") have entered into a Collective Bargaining Agreement effective May 1, 2013; and
WHEREAS, the Parties which to interpret Section 11.5 of Article 17 (Compensation) in a mutually agreeable manner;
NOW, THEREFORE, the University and the BGSU-FA agree as follows:
- The University shall be deemed to have satisfied the provisions of Article 17, Section 11.5 upon: (a) the Chair/Director providing to each Bargaining Unit Faculty Member ("BUFM") the Chair/Director's merit recommendation to the Dean, and (b) The Dean providing to each B UFM the Dean's summary of the Dean's merit allocation.
IN WITNESS WHEREOF, the parties have caused this Memorandum of Understanding to be made effective this 10th day of December 2014.
