Guidelines for Assigning Winter Session Courses and Associated Deadlines

Dear Colleagues:

Article 38: Winter Session required that the Joint Labor-Management Committee recommend to us (a) “Guidelines for Assigning Winter Session Courses” (Section 1.2) and (b) “… appropriate deadlines for items including, but not limited to, BUFM (bargaining unit faculty member) requests, Dean responses to requests, Offers from Deans, BUFM responses to offers, and Deans’ decisions” (Section 2.5) for Winter Session course assignments to be counted as part of that academic year’s load.

We have received and endorsed their recommendations, which can be found on the Provost’s web page.
