I hope this holiday season brings you much to appreciate and celebrate. BGSU has enjoyed an incredible year, including:

• A new national ranking as a “Best Bang for the Buck” university from Washington Monthly Magazine.
• An announcement that BGSU will freeze tuition, general fees, room and board for the 2014-15 academic year.
• Falcon Football brought home the MAC championship after a dramatic victory over Northern Illinois.
• The induction of the 2013 class of the Academy of Distinguished Alumni.
• Continued winning streak for the Falcon Forensics Speech and Debate Club.
• Internationally-recognized research breakthroughs in fields such as family and marriage research, autonomous underwater vehicles, and subglacial ice formations.
• Master Plan progression with the new Bureau of Criminal Investigation and Information Laboratory Falcon Health Center and Student Recreation Center renovation.
• Inaugural year of The Hatch where student entrepreneurs secured more than $100,000 in venture capital from investors.
