Camp Details

• NON-Residential Day Camp 
• Camp Dates:  June 9 - 13, 2025 
• Camp Times: 8:30 AM - 4 PM 
• Meals Provided: Daily Lunch and Snack
• Camp Stipend: 
  • Selected campers will receive a $400 dollar stipend to help offset the cost of attending the program. This will be processed once successfully completing camp. No shows and students dismissed for displinary reasons will not receive the stipend. 
• Camp Deposit: A deposit of $50 is required to hold your camper's spot once they have been selected. Students who attend the full program will be eligible for a refund of the $50 deposit at the conclusion of the program.

Highlights 

• Cybersecurity camp for everyone! No prior knowledge in coding or cybersecurity needed.
• Hands-on learning experience in the state of the art cybersecurity & digital forensics lab.
• Learn to be a cyberguardian in the digital world through games and other fun activities.
• Uncover and analyze electronic data as a digital forensics investigator.

Eligibility 

• Students entering 8th - 10th grade in fall of 2025 who are interested in learning more about cyber security.

Camp Cost   

• Free with a refundable $50 deposit to hold a campers spot once selected. 
• Students are provided a $400 dollar stipend to decrease the cost of lodging/travel to attend. 

Hotel Block 

BGSU Summer Camps has partnered with local businesses to offer reduced cost accomodations. Details related to the hotel block will be sent in acceptance e-mails.

• Early Decision Deadline: March 2, 2025 
  • First wave applicants will be notified by March 22 of acceptance 
• Final Deadline to apply: April 25, 2025
• WAITLIST APPLICANTS will be notified by May 31, 2025

ACCEPTANCE & DEPOSIT

To reserve your seat in camp a $50.00 refundable deposit is due within 10 days of receiving your camp acceptance. Participants who do not pay the deposit by the tenth day are removed and placed on the waitlist.

Forms will be collected via CampDocs an electronic health form and waiver system. Information with a link to the site will be sent in May.

CANCELLATION POLICY:

No refund for a "No Show" or for a cancellation request received less than 4 weeks prior to the start date of the program. Students dismissed for disciplinary reasons are not eligible for any refund.
