Camp Details

• NON-Residential Day Camp 
• Camp Dates:  June 24 -28, 2024
• Camp Times: 8:30 AM - 4 PM 
• Meals Provided: Daily Lunch and Snack
• Camp Cost: $50*

*The cost of camp covers all program materials as well as materials for the camp, including a bag, water bottle and eBook. A deposit of $50 is required to secure a spot. Students who attend the full program will be eligible for a complete refund of the $50 deposit at the conclusion of the program.

Highlights 

• Cybersecurity camp for everyone! No prior knowledge in coding or cybersecurity needed.
• Hands-on learning experience in the state of the art cybersecurity & digital forensics lab.
• Learn to be a cyberguardian in the digital world through games and other fun activities.
• Uncover and analyze electronic data as a digital forensics investigator.

Eligibility 

• Students entering 8th - 10th grade in fall of 2024 who are interested in learning more about cyber security.

Camp Cost   

• The $50 cost of camp covers all program materials,  lunch & snacks throughout the week as well as instruction and lab fees.

On Campus Housing Information 

• BGSU Summer Camps has partnered with Conference and Event Services to offer overnight accommodations on campus for campers and their family. More information will be coming soon and reservations are expected to open spring 2024.

• Early Decision Deadline: March 1, 2024 
  • First wave applicants will be notified by March 22 of acceptance 
• Final Deadline to apply: April 25, 2024
  • Final wave applicants will be notified by May 3, 2024
• WAITLIST APPLICANTS will be notified by May 31, 2024

Application Cancellation Policy

• All programs, or camps within a program, may be subject to minimum enrollment and may be canceled if enrollment minimum is not met. In the event of a cancelled program all fees and registration costs will be refunded.
• Campers may withdraw their application at anytime by sending an e-mail to falconyouth@bgsu.edu

ACCEPTANCE & DEPOSIT

To reserve your seat in camp a $25.00 non-refundable deposit is due within 10 days of receiving your camp acceptance. Participants who do not pay the deposit by the tenth day are removed and placed on the waitlist.  A deposit made after the 10^th day does not guarantee a seat and must be approved.

CANCELLATION POLICY:

If a registration is canceled, the individual or organization making the original CAMP payment will receive:

Full refund minus deposit if cancelation occurs on or before May 31, 2024. 

75% refund minus deposit if cancelation occurs  21 days or more to the start of camp.

50% refund minus depost if cancelation occurs between 14 days and 21 days to the start of camp.

No refund for a "No Show" or for a cancellation request received less than 2 weeks prior to the start date of the program. Students dismissed for disciplinary reasons are not eligible for any refund.
