Pathway Program at BGSU
BGSU prepares you for whatever your future holds, during college and after graduation. With the Pathway Program, you will graduate both career- and life- ready.
Pathway is a special community within the BGSU campus.
During your first year, you’ll experience:
- Small classes – Learn from faculty who are specially trained in the first-year experience.
- Classes that matter – Focus your first year on courses we know are critical to success before continuing your study with a declared major in your second year.
- The ultimate university experience – Live on campus alongside your fellow students, join clubs and organizations just like any other first-year student at BGSU. You’re officially a BGSU Falcon!
- Personalized support – Let our team of coaches and advisors help you achieve critical milestones and design your academic experience so you can graduate on time.
What is the Pathway Program?
The Pathway Program is an invitation-based experience on the Bowling Green campus.
Enhanced advising
You’ll meet with your Pathway advisor frequently to discuss your first-year experiences in and outside the classroom.
Frequent communication
You’ve been supported by your family, and when you enroll, we welcome yours into ours. We’ll communicate not just with you, but with your support system at home when needed.
Discounted tuition
A lower tuition charge for your first year is automatically reflected on your account — no additional scholarship application is needed! Traditional costs will resume in your second year.
Next Steps for Pathway
Keep an eye on your email for information about housing and next steps to commit to BGSU.
We are excited to welcome you to the Falcon Family.
