The Ohio Population Consortium hosts a series of events throughout the year to support the research, training, and development of its affiliates. Many of these events are open to the broader community of population scholars.
Seminar Series
Weekly seminars, held on Tuesdays from 12:30-1:30, provide a forum for scholars from various universities and OSU faculty to present ongoing research to a multidisciplinary audience.
Seminars take place in person in at The Ohio State University's (OSU) Townshend 038, with live streaming available via zoom. Information for each speaker is available on the individual listings on OSU's Events page.
Webinar Series
OPC is sponsoring a Spring Webinar series, Fertility Goals: Conceptualization, Measurement, and Implications for Science and Policy. This three-part series is being held on Thursday, January 29, Thursday, February 12, and Wednesday, March 25 via Zoom. The event is free, but pre-registration is required.
