Bowling Green State University welcomed thousands of prospective students and their families to campus for its annual Presidents Day Open House, a sign of continued momentum at the No. 1 public university in Ohio for student experience and opportunities.

Ahead of the event, a record-breaking 2,200 students and their families, totaling more than 6,000 people, signed up to attend the annual visit day, considered one of the largest of its kind in Ohio.

BGSU has experienced record enrollment for the past two years, with students more eager than ever to enroll at a university prioritizing student success through innovative academic programs and comprehensive support networks.

Honored as the No. 1 public university in the Midwest students said they would choose again for the fifth consecutive year, BGSU provides an education of value through its high-demand academic programs that drive workforce needs in Ohio and beyond, particularly in science, technology, engineering, mathematics and healthcare fields.

BGSU is the only university in the country offering its innovative Life Design program on a large scale, available to all undergraduates. Through the program, students are equipped with the tools and connections to shape their college experience while supporting their life and career goals through the Radbill Center for College and Life Design and the Kuhlin Hub for Career Design and Connections.

During the Presidents Day Open House, classes were in session to allow future students to immerse themselves in active classrooms and research labs, meet with current students and faculty and experience the University's state-of-the-art facilities and vibrant campus life in one of America's safest college towns.
