BGSU Aviation students, faculty and staff will make appearances this summer and fall at a variety of air shows. They will have a display and one of their newest planes used for professional pilot training at the Dayton Air Show in Dayton, Ohio on June 24-25. Visitors can learn about the three majors available to students including Flight Technology and Operations, Aviation Management, and Aviation Engineering Technology.

An aviation group will also attend EAA AirVenture Oshkosh in Wisconsin – one of the largest air shows in the nation. This show includes static displays from World War aircraft to the newest designs in planes. This week-long event from July 24-30 has air show performances daily by many different aircraft and individuals. They also have a night air show with fireworks that is one of the most attended performances at Oshkosh. BGSU will be in the Education Building on the grounds.
The Cleveland Air Show, September 2-4, is one of our favorite airshows to attend. It is located at Burke Lake Front Airport. Not only can people watch the air show from land, but also by water. Thousands of boats will anchor in the bay to watch the show above. This is one of the largest regional air shows in Ohio. Aviation with have their orange tent display, plane and two large banner that stand 17 feet tall next to our tent.
