President announces Rogers title change

President Mary Ellen Mazey has announced a title change for Dr. Rodney Rogers, Senior Vice President for Academic Affairs and Provost. Effective immediately, his title will simply be Provost and Senior Vice President.

According to the president, the new title is more reflective of Rogers’ role within the University and brings BGSU into alignment with the titling structure of a number of peer institutions.

There are no changes to the reporting structure of the president’s Cabinet. Rogers will be taking on some additional responsibilities for fundraising, operations of the Responsibility Centered Management Budgeting Model, and oversight of the execution of strategic initiatives.
